After their successful presentation of the paper Phenomenological Objectivity at the occasion of Boulder Colorado Rocky Mountain Ethics Congress, Matjaz Potrc and Vojko Strahovnik visited the restaurant Sink where Robert Redford used to be a waiter during his student years.

Back from Boulder

Matjaz and Vojko successfully presented their paper Phenomenological Objectivity at the Rocky Mountain Ethics congress. Met many interesting people and enjoyed Boulder. Back home now.

Boulder RoME 12 arrival

Matjaz is in Boulder at the occasion of RoME 2012 conference, where he will have presentation of Phenomenological Objectivity paper together with Vojko Strahovnik. Already met Alastair, looking forward about the occasion. The catch of our paper is trying to go moderately realist,  taking scores with normative contextualism. Coming through Philadelphia and Denver.

Bled Conference 2013 Announcement

The topic of the 2013 conference, June 3rd through June 7th is:
Evidence, Reliability, and Group Epistemology

The conference is organized by a team consisting of Matjaz Potrc of the University of Ljubljana,Nenad Miscevic and Danilo Suster of the University of Maribor and Jack C. Lyons (University of Arkansas). The conference is officially included in the program of the activities of the Slovenian Society for Analytic Philosophy. A special issue of Acta Analytica will publish (selected) papers from the conference.

Bled 2012 Ethics conference

June 4-8, 2012 a successful conference on ethics happened at Bled, with excellent organisation by Alastair Norcross. He posted some pictures, accessible on the link below. Mylan Engel and Gene Mills were there as well, the former conference organizers. Matjaz established this series of conferences at Bled with john Biro. This year was the 20th anniversary, so it was twentieth Bled conference.

Boulder 2012 acceptance

Vojko Strahovnik and Matjaz Potrc succeeded, in a harsh international competition, with their Phenomenological Objectivity paper submitted to 2012 Rocky Mountain Ethics conference in Boulder, Colorado.
