RoME 2015 Potrc Strahovnik presentation.

Rocky Mountains Ethics congress (August 6-9, 2015) was a great success due to organizing skills of Alastair Norcross, Ben Hale, and to contribution of many interesting philosophers. Matjaz Potrc presented his and Vojko Strahovnik paper Reasons and Phenomenology: Experiencing the Space of Reasons.

Bled epistemology and mind conference 2015

June 1-5, 2015, a successful conference on Epistemoilogy and mind took place at Bled, with participants such as Matjaz Potrc and Vojko Strahovnik, besides to David Chalmers, Sosa, Boghossian, Horwich, Jack Lyons, Sarah Wright and many others. Potrc and Strahovnik presented Epistemic Quasi-Agentive Phenomenology in the Space of Reasons, which they sketched togehter with Terry Horgan and Mark Timmons. Matjaz Potrc met Paul Horwich and David Chalmers, as depicted here.

Horgan Potrc collaboration

One of their next projects is Agentive Phenomenology and the Space of Epistemic Reasons, for Bled 2015 Epistemology conference. October 16, 2014 there was a conference about Horgan and Timmons Illuminating Reasons project, where Matjaz Potrc and Vojko Strahovnik were internet present.
Besides Terry Horgan and Matjaz Potrc, also Mark Timmons and Vojko Strahovnik jumped on the wagon of the paper that is now entitlled Epistemic Quasi-Agency in the Space of Reasons and will be presented at the 2015 Bled epistemology conference Hotel Lovec on Friday June 5th at 3:45p by Potrc and Strahovnik

Blobjectivism and Art

Terry Horgan and Matjaz Potrc published their co-authored paper on blobjectivism and art in a collection entitled Realism Materialism Art published later this month by the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard, and Sternberg.

Matjaz Urbino lectures




Matjaz Potrc held a series of lectures in Urbino Italy, in the Erasmus program, supported by Professor Venanzio Raspa organizatory skills. Lectures on Illuminating Reasons, Belief, Blobjectivism and Art, and on Consciousness were very well received by Urbino students.

Papers on vagueness, inference and consciousness in the making

Matjaz Potrc paper Ontological Vagueness: Why It's Impossible and Why the Metaphysical and Semantic Consequences are Severe, co-authored with Terry Horgan, will appear in a prominent Sorites Book Collection. Another co-authored paper, Agentive Phenomenology and the Space of Epistemic Reasons, has as well been accepted for publication in a collection on inference and consciousness. The work on both of these papers goes on. Yes, and there is a review of Austere Realism MIT Press book to appear in the journal Mind.
