Boulder Colorado RoME 2013 conference success

At the occasion of Rocky Mountains Ethics conference 2013 in Boulder, Colorado, Professor Potrc successfully presented his and Vojko Strahovnik paper Morphological Pluralism. Alastair Norcross and Mylan Engel posed several instructive questions, and Chris Howard commented. The issue was the relation of psychological morphological underpinning of moral judgments and their normative character. Robert Audi and Professor Potrc met at the occasion of Moral Perception book discussion. Morphology may substantially supplement traditional moral pluralism. Alastair Norcross suggested that morphology even matches consequentialist approach to moral judgment. Photos show Professor Potrc in Boulder Starbucks and his celebration mood in Boulder Sink restaurant.

Pavia Nomologics 2 conference

July 2013 there was a Nomologics 2 conference at the University of Pavia, where professors Conte, Di Lucia, Lorini, Glazel, Raspa among others presented their interesting papers. Stefano Colloca did a great job in organising the conference. The proceedings from the Nomologics 1 conference are now published; The Value of Truth The Truth of Value (Stefano Colloca ed.) Edizioni Universitarie di Lettere Economia Diritto, Milano 2013. The paper The Truth of Value by Matjaz Potrc is included (pp. 37-50) That was a great conference. I also visited the church where St. Augustine (the divine illumination guy) and Boethius remains are kept in Pavia.
